OVERCOMING THE DARKNESS
END OF CAMPAIGN UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who was involved with our Overcoming the Darkness campaign! Your donations, inviting others to learn more, and sharing your own stories of depression and anxiety all made a big impact, helping us to raise $1,812 for the International Foundation for Research and Education of Depression! Didn’t get a chance to give during the fundraiser? You can always give through their website, iFred.org (see below).
iFred.org (International Foundation for Research and Education on Depression)
One of the greatest challenges when dealing with depression is the feeling of hopelessness, that you are alone, and that nobody understands. But you are not alone, and there are many, many others who know what you’re going through – and they are a couple of clicks away. At iFred.org you can find support groups, peer-to-peer support, learn about hope, and other resources free of charge. They also have a list of other numbers and websites you can look to for help and support.
