Scientists Now Able To Remotely Control Your Mind
This groundbreaking research marks the initial exploration into an operational mind control mechanism, with further advancements required.
The concept of remotely influencing actions and behavior through a device is undoubtedly unsettling, although it currently remains a work in progress.
The pioneering work was achieved by a team of researchers from the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in South Korea who were focused on discovering innovative treatments for neurological conditions.
Dubbed the Nano-Magnetogenetic Interface for NeuroDynamics (Nanon-MIND), the device functions by leveraging magnetized nanoparticles and short-range magnetic field apparatus to pinpoint distinct brain areas.
In a study involving mice, scientists successfully elicited a significant enhancement in maternal and caregiving behaviors by activating the brain region linked to maternal instincts.
Director Cheon Jinwoo of South Korea’s Center for Nanomedicine stated, “This marks the world’s premiere technology for precision control of specified brain regions through magnetic fields.”
“We anticipate broad applicability in brain function research, advanced artificial neural networks, bidirectional brain-computer interfaces, and novel therapies for neurological ailments.”
