I really wanted to like this movie but the premise was so overwhelmingly unbelievable that there was not a single moment that felt real. The acting was good but the explanation for the game, it’s history, etc., felt more forced than a mom telling her toddler peas taste like rainbows. And the last fifteen minutes were not only worse, but any semblance of a lesson or moral to be learned is completely thrown out of the window. 1 out of 5 screams is being generous.
