Hold Anything – October 1930 (Creepy Cartoon)

This might seem like a lighthearted cartoon about a man working a construction site with the help of his animal friends, but in reality, it’s nothing short of sadistic. This weird monkey lead character named Bosco has no problem using his animals for musical instruments, much to the delight of his girlfriend. Whether it be chopping off the head of a mouse in order to make different noises on a wobbly saw or grabbing and squeezing the air out of a recently inflated goat so it sounds like pipe organs, there’s no end to this master’s cruelty and general disregard for life.
