Move Over IMAX… The Sphere Is Here (VIDEO)

This remarkable spherical screen can project realistic looking images that can be seen for miles around.
The Las Vegas skyline has been made all the more remarkable this month thanks to the MSG Sphere – the world’s largest spherical structure which measures a whopping 366 feet in height.
A concert venue on the inside, the building’s exterior can be used to display practically anything.
Comprised of 1.2 million hockey puck-sized programmable LEDs, this incredible screen has already wowed social media by displaying images of the Earth, the Moon, a basketball, a silvery sphere and many other spectacles – all dominating the Las Vegas skyline like something from a sci-fi movie.
“Most music venues are sports venues,” singer Bono told Apple Music. “They’re built for sports – they’re not built for music. They’re not built for art. This building was built for immersive experiences in cinema and performance … you can’t come here and see an ice hockey game.”
I can only assume Disney didn’t give them permission to create the Death Star… because this is just begging for it to be displayed here.
