You might think this is an odd thing to include in on the Weird Darkness – but after watching it again today it definitely is a DARK Christmas story in sections. The abandoned baby, the burgermeister banning and burning toys, Winter Warlock, the dark music at times…. it’s no wonder I love this Christmas special. Well, that and this Santa starts life as a redhead just like me – and the older I get, the more I look like Santa. Oh… and Miss Jessica was my first crush when growing up. No kidding. I don’t think they play it on the air anymore – at least not as often – because at the wedding they get religious and talking about baby Jesus or the Lord, or having gifts delivered on “the most holiest of nights” is frowned upon nowadays as distributing toys to the children of Sombertown.
